5VZ TT 4Runner

William originally came to me trying to decide between a supercharger or turbos.  I explained to him the differences in each setup so he could weigh the pros and cons of both.  He had a very peculiar setup.  He had swapped a 5VZ Tacoma engine into his mint condition 1989 Toyota 4Runner.  After he decided on turbo, I began imagining and creating the picture.  We went with mirror image Garrett G25-550 turbos.  Everything about this build is custom.  I even had to design my own head flanges and have them machined since no one offered a flange for this engine.  Since there wasn't much room, I also designed an Air/Water intercooler that bolts onto the factory lower intake manifold.  This project came out fantastic!
